The problem FindOne solves

A single tracker is a single point of failure.

Professional thieves know exactly what to look for. The moment they find and pull the main GPS unit, a vehicle goes dark. FindOne is the layer they don't find.

STEP 01

Primary GPS installed

Your vehicle runs a wired, real-time GPS tracker for day-to-day fleet management.

STEP 02

Tracker found & removed

A thief locates the main unit, cuts power and disconnects it. Real-time tracking stops instantly.

STEP 03

Vehicle goes dark

With no backup, the asset is untraceable. Recovery odds drop sharply from here.

FINDONE

FindOne keeps working

The hidden tag they never found silently updates its location whenever a nearby Apple device passes — giving you a real chance to recover the vehicle.

How FindOne locates

Not GPS. Not a SIM. A quieter way to be found.

FindOne doesn't broadcast its own signal or need a data plan. Instead it's detected by the vast Apple nearby-device network — and every detection flows straight into your Fleettrack account.

01

The tag stays hidden

Concealed inside the vehicle or attached to an asset, FindOne sits silent and battery-powered — nothing to detect, nothing to cut.

02

A nearby Apple device passes

When any nearby Apple device comes within range, it privately and securely picks up the tag's presence — no action needed from anyone.

03

Location lands in Fleettrack

That detection updates the tag's location inside your Fleettrack app — with history, movement and stats layered on top.

Important: FindOne is a secondary recovery device, not a real-time GPS tracker. Updates happen when a nearby Apple device detects the tag — coverage is strongest in areas with regular foot and vehicle traffic. Everything you see lives inside the Fleettrack ecosystem, not a third-party finder app.

The Fleettrack ecosystem

More than a location tag.

Ordinary tags just drop a pin. FindOne feeds a full asset-intelligence layer — the same platform that powers Fleettrack's GPS fleet, now built around recovery.

Questions, answered

FindOne FAQ

What is FindOne?
FindOne is a hidden, battery-powered recovery tag from Fleettrack. It's designed as a secondary layer of protection for vehicles and high-value assets — a silent backup that keeps helping you locate something even if the primary GPS tracker is found and removed.
How does FindOne work?
FindOne is detected by the Apple nearby-device network. When any nearby Apple device passes the tag, its location is securely updated inside your Fleettrack account — where you also get route history, movement timeline and travel statistics.
Is FindOne a GPS tracker?
No. FindOne is not a real-time GPS tracker and shouldn't replace one. It has no SIM and doesn't stream continuous live location. It's a recovery backup that updates when a nearby Apple device detects it — best used alongside a primary GPS tracker.
Can it work without a SIM card?
Yes. FindOne needs no SIM, no cellular data and no monthly subscription. Because it relies on nearby Apple devices rather than its own cellular connection, there's nothing to recharge on a plan and no signal to jam.
Can thieves detect FindOne?
FindOne is small and passive, which is exactly why it works as a backup. It's meant to be concealed where a thief wouldn't think to look — so even if the main GPS is discovered, the hidden FindOne keeps working.
Where should I hide the tag?
Somewhere concealed but not fully enclosed in metal — behind interior trim, under a seat, inside a panel, or magnetically mounted (Pro) on machinery. Our team can advise on the best placement for your vehicle or asset type.
Can I install multiple tags?
Yes. You can add multiple FindOne tags to a single Fleettrack account and manage them like a fleet — naming, grouping and monitoring each one from the same dashboard. FindOne Pro is built for large multi-tag deployments.
How accurate is the location?
Accuracy depends on how recently a nearby Apple device detected the tag. In busy areas with regular traffic, updates are frequent and precise. In remote areas with fewer devices, updates are less frequent — which is why FindOne is a recovery backup, not a live tracker.
How often does the location update?
Updates happen whenever a nearby Apple device passes the tag, so frequency scales with foot and vehicle traffic. There's no fixed interval — expect frequent updates in urban areas and sparser updates in isolated locations.
Does FindOne need charging?
No routine charging. FindOne runs on a long-life battery — up to 2 years on Lite and up to 3 years on Pro — so you can hide it and leave it. The app shows battery health so you know well in advance when to replace it.
Can the battery be replaced?
Yes — when the multi-year battery eventually runs low, it can be replaced so the tag keeps protecting your asset for years. The Fleettrack app flags low battery ahead of time.
Is it waterproof?
FindOne Pro is IP68-rated, meaning it withstands dust and water immersion — suitable for outdoor and off-road assets. FindOne Lite is splash resistant and best kept in more protected, indoor-vehicle placements.
Can I use FindOne for commercial fleets?
Absolutely — that's the core use case. FindOne Pro is designed for long-term commercial deployment across rentals, logistics, corporate fleets and heavy equipment, with unlimited multi-tag management in one account.
Is it good for rental cars?
Rental fleets are one of the strongest fits. A rental car already has a primary GPS tracker; adding a hidden FindOne means that if someone finds and removes the main unit, you still have a real chance of recovering the vehicle.
Does it support fleet management?
Yes. FindOne tags appear in the same Fleettrack dashboard as your GPS devices, so your recovery backups and live trackers live side by side — one login, one view of every asset.
What's the difference between Lite and Pro?
Lite is for personal vehicles and everyday assets: up to 2-year battery, splash resistant, one-time price. Pro is for commercial deployment: up to 3-year battery, IP68 waterproofing, magnetic mount and unlimited multi-tag management. Both run the full Fleettrack ecosystem.
What's the difference between a GPS tracker and FindOne?
A GPS tracker is your primary, real-time system: continuous live location using GPS and a SIM, with a subscription. FindOne is the secondary recovery layer: no SIM, no subscription, located by nearby Apple devices. They're designed to work together, not as alternatives.
Does it work with Android phones?
You manage FindOne through the Fleettrack app, which is available on both Android and iPhone. The tag's location detection relies on the Apple nearby-device network, but you can view everything from any smartphone.
Is my location data private?
Yes. Each tag is bound to your Fleettrack account, and its location data is visible only to you. Everything lives inside the Fleettrack ecosystem rather than a shared third-party finder app.
How long is the route history?
FindOne stores up to 90 days of route history, so you can replay where an asset has been detected over time and use that pattern to support recovery.
Do I need professional installation?
No wiring or technician is needed. FindOne is self-install: conceal it, stick it, or magnetically mount it (Pro). For fleets, our team can recommend the most secure placement for each vehicle or asset type.
Can FindOne replace my GPS tracker?
No — and it isn't meant to. FindOne is a backup, not a replacement. For live, continuous tracking you still need a primary GPS device. FindOne's job is to keep helping you recover an asset in the scenario where that primary device fails or is removed.
Understanding FindOne

A hidden recovery layer for vehicles and high-value assets

What FindOne is built for

FindOne by Fleettrack is a hidden asset-recovery tag engineered as a secondary layer of protection. It is not a real-time GPS tracker and is not intended to replace one. Instead, it works quietly in the background, detected by the Apple nearby-device network, so that a vehicle or asset can still be located even after a primary GPS tracker has been discovered and removed. For self-drive rental companies, logistics operators, corporate fleets and owners of high-value equipment, that hidden backup can be the difference between a recovered asset and a total loss.

Why a backup recovery tag matters

Every tracking device has one weakness: if it can be found, it can be removed. Organised vehicle theft increasingly begins by locating and disabling the main GPS unit. Once that happens, a vehicle with only one tracker goes completely dark. FindOne closes that gap. Concealed separately from the primary device and powered by a multi-year battery, it keeps updating its position whenever a nearby Apple device passes — providing an additional, independent chance of recovery when it matters most.

Inside the Fleettrack ecosystem

Unlike a basic location tag that only drops a pin, FindOne feeds a complete asset-intelligence layer inside the Fleettrack app: current location, route history, movement timeline, travel statistics, last-seen position, battery health and multi-tag management. Because it shares the same platform as Fleettrack's GPS fleet products, your recovery backups and live trackers appear together in one dashboard — one login for every asset, with no separate finder app to manage.

Choosing FindOne Lite or FindOne Pro

FindOne Lite suits personal vehicles, two-wheelers and everyday assets, with up to two years of battery life and a simple, affordable one-time price. FindOne Pro is built for commercial deployment — rentals, logistics, corporate fleets and heavy equipment — with up to three years of battery, IP68 waterproofing, a magnetic mount and unlimited multi-tag management. Both models run the full Fleettrack ecosystem, so the experience is identical; you simply choose the hardware that matches how, and where, your assets operate.

Give every asset a second chance at recovery.

Keep your primary GPS for live tracking — and let FindOne quietly cover you for the moment it fails. Pick the model that fits your fleet.
